Dr. Allen Beck Superintendent
Superintendent, Allen Beck, Phd was taught in a one-room schoolhouse as a child and raised in poverty. His mother encouraged learning which instilled in him to always value the importance of an education.
Dr. Beck has extensive experience as a teacher and administrator in public and private education for over 25 years. In addition, he has experience as a pastor in Texas and Oklahoma, as well as missions for over 10 years as he traveled in over 30 countries and learned to relate to many cultures.
After teaching in public schools and seeing the numerous needs of the students, Dr. Beck wanted to provide a new public school system and to give children a purpose and a hope for their future. Dr. Beck applied for a public charter school contract in 1997 receiving approval through the State of Texas to open a Public Charter School in Dallas, Texas in August 1998. Eagle Advantage Schools, Inc. a non-profit organization now operates four campuses with over 1,500 students.
