Dr. Caroline Leaf
It is in a child’s nature to be curious, we are all curious about the nature of our brains. As educators it is our job to use this curiosity to help our students learn better. To accomplish this, Advantage Academy is partnering with Dr. Caroline Leaf to personally train all of our teachers her Switch on Your Brain 5-step learning method and metacognitive map. Dr. Leaf is a neuroscientist and neurometacognitive learning specialist as well as educator and best-selling author. She has taught over 100,000 students worldwide her method which is a scientifically and statistically proven approach to thinking, teaching and learning.
Dr. Leaf’s methods have been proven to increase the learning capacity of students from 35-75%. These results are from 28 years of researching the brain and how to unlock its vast potential.
Dr. Leaf has been interviewed on Life Today with James & Betty Robison as well as Enjoying Everyday Life with Joyce Meyer. She will be a featured speaker at the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference in St. Louis, Missouri in the Fall of 2010.
