Gold performance Gold Performance by AA Congratulations to all students, parents and teachers for Advantage Academy’s recent recognition by the Texas Education Agency and obtaining Four GOLD Performance Acknowledgements from TEA for high academic performance in College Readiness; Our Recommended High School Plan; attendance and Comparable Improvement in Mathematics. Great job students, parents and teachers!

January Newsletter & Updates

Basketball Update:

Coach Foster 1/19/12 – We are in our third week of competition and are looking for our first victory. Although we have faced tough opponents we continue to have great energy and mental toughness and we are sure to get our first victory.

For the Lady Eagles, Tonia Davis is our leading scorer and continues to light up the court. We are also led by Abby Morales with her great offensive rebounds and punishing defense that often lead offenders frustrated because of her shot blocking abilities. She leads teams with 9 block and 15 rebounds.

Our Boys team has also yet to find a victory. We have had strong performances by Sr. Thomas Walker he scored 12 point in Tuesdays match against Kerens who are currently ranked #12 in the State of Texas. Raul Pedraza also has had to great games and his averaging 4 assist a game.

Coach Foster 1/23/12 – We are pleased to announce that our Middle school boys won their first game17-14 in district last Thursday 1/19/12 against our sister campus Rowlett. Our middle school girls lost but continued to give great effort and sportsmanship every game. The boys record is now 1-4.

Last Friday our Girls Varsity fell short again 16-71, but had strong performance from Jr. Sarah Stephens with 6 points. Their record is 0-5.

Our Boys Varsity fell short 37-75 as well but put up a great fight. Sr. Thomas Walker wowed the crowd with 18 points. Their record is 0-3.

Our beautiful new Grand Prairie campus located at 955 Freetown Road is now OPEN. Our 3rd -12th grade students will report to the new campus beginning, Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd graders and staff will stay in their current location and move to the new campus by February 2012.

Advantage Academy-Grand Prairie has moved to our brand new PreK-12th campus near the NW corner of Pioneer & Carrier Parkway @ 955 Freetown Road. All new student admissions applications can be downloaded from our enroll now page and must be submitted by mail or weekdays 8 am-4 pm in person at 955 Freetown Road.

FREE Pre-K 4 Program
