Advantage Academy is a public charter school. As a public charter school, we are an independent public school that is free to be more innovative and is held accountable for improved student achievement.
Our mission is to educate children in an academic, character-based environment of excellence and cultural diversity by partnering with parents, churches and businesses. We are dedicated to providing innovative instruction using technology and quality resources to inspire students to be productive, successful champions by offering them a future and a hope.
Our philosophy calls for us to remember that education is about both the individual and the community. We seek to nurture the curiosity and creativity and the love of learning to each of our students and at the same time, work to build a community whose members are committed to the timeless and sustained principles of integrity, mutual responsibility, empathy, compassion, and service.
Advantage Academy strives to operate under the four-legged stool theory, which has parents, churches, businesses and school as the legs supporting the child.
